Registration for the keynote panel of the LARABII project’s inaugural conference, The politics of abortion in Iceland, Ireland and Northern Ireland, has now opened.
It takes place on Wednesday 18 May from 14:30–17:00. The venue is Room 101 of the Oddi building on the University of Iceland’s main campus.
All are welcome to attend the keynote panel, but to assist with planning, we ask you to please register in advance at this link.
Keynote speakers include:
- Halldóra Mogensen (Iceland): Member of the Althing for the Pirate Party and former chairperson of the Welfare Committee
- Professor David Farrell (Ireland): Professor of Politics at University College Dublin
- Dr Fiona Bloomer (Northern Ireland): Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at Ulster University
- Ivana Bacik (Ireland): Leader of the Labour Party and pro-choice campaigner
